    • Here are some upcoming posts:
      Yogurt-
      homeade Cucumber dip
Bean dip (black and white beans, green pepper, corn, tomatoes, avacado, lime, green onions, and a little italian dressing)
      chicken noodle soup
7 layer bean dip also. refried beans (I do veg. kind) with greek yogurt (add some taco seasoning to it) and layer on top: lettuce, tomatoes, olives and green onions. The kids are huge fans of this too.
      Homeade Chili/taco soup
      Rice Pilaf
      Smoothies Galore
      Salad Dressings to try
      Quick Lunches

      Sunflower Market Commodities:
vegannaise (like mayo) it doesn't have those bad perservatives in it

Coconut Milk ( I use this instead of "cream of " whatever soup)
raw apple cider vinegar- lots more probiotics than not raw
grape seed oil (better for cooking at high temperatures)
Coconut oil (won't turn trans when cooked with)- can get this at honeyville in bulk for cheaper
Soba Noodles (you can get at the grocery store, but they are more expensive)

      Costco finds:
the non cooked tortillas at costco are about as healthy as a premade tortilla is going to get.
       Rice MIlk
      Whole Wheat spaghetti noodles
The omega 3 eggs there are great and not very expensive
Frozen fruits way cheaper there for green smoothies (as well as spinach)
Italian dressing (more healthy than the walmart brand)
      Quinoa
Honey ( i can also get this through a group buy, if interested in buying in bulk let me know.)
Pure Maple Syrup- I love this sweetener. (It is so dang expenisve though! It is high in manganese. It is higher on the glycemic though, so we don't always use it.)
Agave I only sometimes like, but when you cook with it, it seems to not do as well as honey or maple.
Peanut Butter (adams style, sold anywhere, it is way better for you, but in bulk at costco)
You can substitue honey for sugar in any recipe, but usually have to adjust the flour just a little bit (up the flour). The only recipe we have had trouble with substituting it is a banana bread which was just too runny, but I am sure we will figure that one out eventually.
