Bread and Gravy

Bread and Gravy

Steam green beans

Saute one small onion and 3 T. butter
(can also add chopped celery or diced potatoes and/or garlic)
Saute until almost cooked through.

combine separately then add to onions
2 T. flour and
2.5 cups water with
2 T. cornstarch
1-2 bullion cube


Let thicken over medium heat

Serve with Sourdough bread on bottom, then green beans, then sauce
